Brian is an expert in compensation review and design, from individual roles to whole organization structures. He also has considerable experience in organizational equity review. Brian advises Beyond clients on building compensation plans that drive outcomes with rewards, keeping them up to date against the market, and preparing them for 990 reviews.
Throughout his career Brian has created, developed, and implemented plans to attract and retain top talent while maintaining across-the board organizational equity. He has over 20 years of experience in HR with a compensation focus, starting in the for-profit world (US Foodservice, American Sugar Refining) followed by a decade in the non-profit sector (Clinton Foundation).
Brian's experience also includes implementing human resources policies, procedures, and organizational review programs that foster company commitment to equity and compliance. Brian has worked with all levels of organizations, from CEOs and presidents to administrative staff, to engage with and explain compensation issues.
In addition to his professional work, Brian has spent 7 years as an HR advisor and board member at the United Palace Theater in Washington Heights and 4 years assisting with youth theater, teaching teenagers how to build sets with power tools without visiting the emergency room.
